These are mountains and I wanted to give it an Arctic feel and I also wanted to try and reflect the mountains in the water. Done in Photoshop.
Here is a RainForest. I tried to add different values when it came to the vines to show that the forest is a bit messy. The light section in the center is a small lake. The two mid-tone shapes are bushes and the rest are rocks. There are also some trees behind all of the rocks. Done in Photoshop.
This one was done by using Alchemy. I wanted this to be a destroyed alien planet. In the upper left hand corner it's an alien riding on a mechanical like bird. It's shooting spears like objects that's hitting the ground giving it that small impact look. The darkest area are destroyed buildings and flags. The lightest area is like a cloud of smoke. There is an alien on the left side of the dark center destroyed building structure and behind that is suppose to be a giant bird-like creature.
